An absolute delight to create this identity. Situated on a rural hilltop in Mudgee NSW, Piambong Tops is a tiny home accommodation, and a place where time slows. With a focus on presence and disconnecting from the everyday busy-ness, it encourages us to leave behind the routines. The client was full of so many incredible ideas, yet couldn’t clearly see how to bring them all together.

It was essential to create an identity that reflected these qualities of the cabin and its location in rural Australia. This led us to a colour palette inspired by the earth and native flora, paired with retro, Western typography. My favourite part: the custom, hand-painted elements to represent the essence of this special place. The painted eye not only creates a sense of mystique, but it symbolises an engraving found on a treasured object in the cabin. A collaborative process full of excitement from start to finish.
